I was at a department store with the kids. We passed the ladies things and Carter took off running, yelling, "look Mom!" He went up to a display of manikins and Said, "ha ha, look! Underpants!" I was like Okay lets keep going. He climbed onto the stand with them and put his arm around their waists and yells, "Hey Mom, take a picture of me!" Seriously? Isn't that something that a typical 14 year old would say? Not my Innocent 3 year old!!! I was a little embarrassed but laughing pretty hard.
This is a picture that I am ordering for the wall in our living room. I have an odd shaped frame that has been hanging empty for a long time! I just love it.
Why am I so stinkin' excited? Well, it is 7:30 and both of my kids are in bed and asleep!!! Carter skipped his nap today and so he was very tired.
Jeremy picked up take out on his way home from work today and then picked us up for a picnic! We then played at the park as a family. I loved it and so did the kiddos. I always get a little antsy to get out of the house. I didn't have to cook and I didn't have to clean! Thanks Babe, what a fun evening!
I took some cute pictures at the park I will put them up soon! Paige has been walking for about 2 months now and I love it. She is just so little and seeing her walk is too funny. I love this stage. She is pretty smart too. She knows the signs for Milk, Dad. Mom, More, Please, Sleep, food, and I think that's it. We love teaching our kids sign language. I think it helps with frustration when they know what they want but can't talk yet. She talks a little bit too. She says, Mama, Dada, Dog, Ball, Carter (Ardar, so sweet), Night Night, and bye bye. She also shakes her head yes and no. Ask her if she is a princess and you get a big grin and a nod! So fun! I love that little munchkin!
Several months ago my little brother came home from his mission to Atlanta. We had the Fam all together so we did pictures! Not an easy task! We did different colors for each generation. While I took individual family pictures my Uncle Claire watched Paige and it was just too cute. And yes poor Paige had a black eye. She was starting to stand on her own...not always easy! Carter was so done when we did our group picture. This was the best we could get. Not one for the wall hu!?
This picture is old but still cute! Really why do we buy expensive toys when the favorite ones are empty boxes? We got a freezer and my dad took the box and cut a door in it. Carter and Paige had so much fun with it. Thanks for the fun Grandpa Eddie!
