Brummett Family

Sometimes I find myself looking at the pictures or floor plans for our new home. I just look and wonder where we will put our furniture. I wonder how empty some of the rooms might look for awhile, i.e. formal dining room, front room. This house have a family room and a living room. The front room is seperate and more formal.  Going from our last house to our current rental home has forced us to scale down, leaving our garage to full to use for cars. Altought we plan to slowly furnish our home it will be something else that will be fun to do together.

Mostly I just look and I can't believe that we are really going to live there. It seems so strange. Jeremy bought our first home before we were married, or even dating. So being able to help pick out a home to live in has been exciting and scary.

 I took Carter out to play in the snow this morning and he loved it! He did trip and fall once and he tried so hard to get up without getting his hands in the snow. He was bending his wrist and trying to push up with his forearm, it was really funny to watch. He then decided to taste the snow, and proceeded to make his yum yum noises while eating away. He loved to take a snow ball and through it as far as he could, as long as I made it into a ball for him. Then he would yell "MORE!"

 Wow, only nine days until we move! We are still hopeful that our new house will close by then. If not we will be hanging out with all of our stuff....somewhere. I haven't been sleeping as well as I would like mostly because I have to use the bathroom all night; but partially because I have been having bizarre nightmares.

How in the world do we get so much junk? We moved 15 months ago and we have accumulated so much junk! Needless to say we spent to weekend cleaning out our cupboards and drawers and closets. The good news is that we are mostly packed. We only have the things that we need to get by for the next week and a half.
